Climb Africa’s highest mountain with a crew paid above the legal minimum, on the route that suits you – and arrive ready, with a gentle acclimatisation hike to Materuni waterfall and coffee farms before you start. Trip length = days on the mountain + 3 (arrival, culture day, departure).
Choose your route
- Marangu – 6 days: the only route with hut beds; gentle gradient, good for first-timers.
- Machame – 7 days: our most popular; scenic, with good acclimatisation via Lava Tower and the Barranco Wall.
- Lemosho – 8 days: quiet western start through rainforest; excellent summit success.
- Rongai – 7 days: drier northern side near Kenya; quieter, good in the rainy season.
- Umbwe – 6 days: steep and direct, for fit and experienced hikers.
- Northern Circuit – 9 days: the longest and least crowded; the best acclimatisation and summit odds.
Day by day
- Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport; transfer to Moshi; equipment check with your guide.
- Day 2: Acclimatisation day: Materuni waterfall hike and coffee ceremony.
- Climb days: your chosen route to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) and down.
- Last day: Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport, or continue to safari or Zanzibar.

How group pricing works
Prices are per person. The bigger the group, the lower the price, because guides and camp crew are shared.
- One person pays for all: pick the group size and set the quantity to the number of climbers.
- Split the cost: each climber books their own place (quantity 1) with the same route and group size and types the same Group name. We match you together.
Stay levels (Moshi nights): Local = family homestay · Comfort = 3-star hotel · Premium = 4–5-star boutique hotel.
Park fees explained
Park fees explained
We quote foreign non-resident rates with 18% VAT. Road safaris to the Serengeti cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the way in and out, so the Ngorongoro fee is paid twice, plus the Serengeti fee for each 24 hours and $295 per vehicle to descend into the crater. All of this is already in your price.
